PRESIDENT / CEO TCTI, INC. Jeff Curtis
is currently
under contract as Training Officer and Coordinator during Basic Law
Enforcement Officer Classes for the Mississippi Delta Community College
Law Enforcement Training Academy.
Mr. Curtis will be responsible for the training of students in
over 400 hours of both day and night time training. Jeff Curtis
is an 26 year law enforcement veteran with a background specialized in
training. He is the founder
and president of Total Control Training Institute, Inc. a researched
based use of force training organization.
TCTI supplies officers and departments Nationally and
Internationally with Use of
Force training programs. The
State of Mississippi has approved the TCTI, Inc. Semi-Auto Firearms
Instructor program, TCTI OC Instructor program and the TCTI Rifle and
Shotgun Instructor programs as a State Certified Instructor Program.
The State of Mississippi has approved the TCTI Personal Protection
Program developed by Mr. Curtis as approved courses for both teachers
and medical field employees.
Most State academies now use the TCTI OC Survival Training
program. TCTI offers
over 50 programs for officers, security, military, teacher, medical
field and departments in the use of force, protection and
survival field. Jeff has been
an active consultant for the US Department of Army, US Air Force, United
Kingdom Royal Protection Service and
various military special operation units.
As the Basic Class Coordinator/Instructor for the Mississippi Law
Enforcement Officers Training Academy in Pearl, MS, he oversaw classes
of recruits to become officers for the state of Mississippi.
His classes ranged from 55 to 75 graduating officers.
As Special Projects Coordinator for the State of Mississippi, Mr.
Curtis researched, designed and coordinated several seminars. Mr. Curtis holds different state Law Enforcement instructor certificates including Mississippi, Arkansas, Florida, IL and Nebraska . He has been active over 16 years with PPCT Management Systems, Inc. The leading research based use of force organization in the Country. He currently holds the rank of Associate Staff Instructor with PPCT. He was appointed in 2008 as the Chair of the Warriors Science Group Firearms Committee. He has assisted PPCT staff with development of the PPCT Combat Firearms Instructor Manual. Assisted staff in the instruction of the Combat Firearms Instructor course at the PPCT International conferences. His professional affiliations include the International Association of Law Enforcement Firearms Instructors (IALEFA), American Society of Law Enforcement Trainers (ASLET), National Rifle Association (NRA), and National Tactical Officers Association (NTOA). Mr. Curtis began his career in 1985 and has served as police officer and administrator for the Tupelo Police Department, Starkville Police Department and the Mississippi Law Enforcement Officers Training Academy. s In addition to working with Departments in Mississippi, he served as Director of Security for a very large US-based international communications corporation where he also acted as head of the Executive Protection Division for the CEO. Aubrey Futrell

Aubrey Futrell brings over forty-five years of experience in law enforcement to TCTI. His career started with the Jonesboro Police Department in Louisiana, then progressed to the Louisiana State Police serving as a Parish Trooper, then promoted to Public Information Officer, and finally retired as a Sergeant at the State Police Training Academy. While a State Trooper, he received several honors including Honorable Service Award to Louisiana, New Orleans Police Department Accommodation, and Trooper of the Year. He is also a graduate of the F.B.I. National Academy. Following his career with Louisiana State Police, Mr. Futrell served as the Director of Training for the Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries Enforcement Division before moving on to the Louisiana Commission on Law Enforcement and serving as the Director of Peace Officers Standards and Training (P.O.S.T.). He took an early retirement from P.O.S.T. to work for the Homeland Security Corporation training airport screeners after 9-11. Following work with Homeland Security, he was employed by the Gulf States Regional Center for Public Safety Innovations as Program Coordinator, ensuring that all training courses were handled professionally and efficiently. Aubrey is known for his unique character and presentation style and has presented training both nationally and internationally for numerous organizations. He is now a private consultant, conducting training on a number of vital subjects for law enforcement. He is committed to providing quality law enforcement training to develop officers with integrity and high standards of job performance, as well as a survival mentality including their own mental and physical well-being. |

Bill Staten
Bill is a
state certified law enforcement instructor and a staff instructor for
TCTI. Bill is a 12 year veteran law enforcement officer. He has an
extensive background in criminal investigation, narcotics investigation,
and was a former SWAT team member with the Greenville Police Department.
Bill was the criminal/narcotics investigator and sniper for the
Sunflower County Sheriff
Dept for 3 years and finished his full time law enforcement career as
the Chief Criminal Investigator for the Washington County Sheriff
Department Bill
served as the designated sniper and Captain of their NRA pistol team.
He is a 4th Dan (Master level) Certified JKA Shotokan
Karate Instructor and Examiner has been teaching traditional martial
arts for over 10 years. He holds a BBA degree and majored in Accounting
with a minor in Psychology.
He is a Certified Fraud Examiner and holds other professional licenses.
He has been designated as an expert witness in accounting in state and
federal courts. |

INSTRUCTOR Randy is a 17 year Law Enforcement veteran and is currently serving the Newton County, MS Sheriff's Office in the capacity of Chief Deputy / Homicide Investigator. Randy is an instructor for Total Control Training Institute and is certified to instruct in the following. *PPCT Defensive Tactics *PPCT Spontaneous Knife *PPCT Combat Firearms *TCTI Semi-Auto *TCTI Survival O.C. Randy also holds certificates in Advanced Death Scene Investigation, Interview and Interrogation and is a member of Law Enforcement Thermogerfer Association.
Randy teaching defensive tactics at the MS Delta Law Enforcement Training Academy, where he is actively involved in officer survival training with each basic academy class.
